A fully strung piano exerts enormous compressive pressure on the cast iron plate and soundboard. If we must dramatically increase tension to achieve A440, the instrument must first have its pitch corrected.  By using sophisticated software, we can accurately measure the pre-tuning pitch, calculate the precise overpull, and achieve a very quick and accurate pitch correction. The subsequent fine tuning will be stable and accurate.
